We are a frame tent dealership in Japan, specialising in French retro and vintage frame tents. We have successfully been importing and reselling these tents to many Japanese campers for several years now.
See our collections on Instagram.
If you have a Vintage French (1960’s, 70’s or 80’s) frame tent and it is taking up space in your garage, please check the manufacturer and colour to see if it matches our criteria.
We mainly buy retro Gallic frame tents which are manufactured by Marechal, Cabanon, Raclet, Messager and Trigano at higher prices than any other auction sites. Other manufacturers can be considered on a case by case basis.
The colour should be brown, red or orange. Unfortunately, other colours are not acceptable.
Whilst we will accept tents with incomplete or damaged parts (poles and canvas), obviously we would prefer them complete and in salvageable condition.

Cotton canvas tents, unlike modern nylon tents, provide a cool, shady interior, even in the hottest summer weather, but equally retain heat when it is cold. They can deal with anything that the elements can throw at them, remaining dry and secure even in the worst rainstorms. These tents are safe to cook in and can be heated internally, so they will be comfortably warm throughout the colder seasons - Japanese people love to camp throughout the year, so these tents are ideal for this purpose. The colours of autumn are the most appreciated and admired, hence the preference for red, orange or brown tent colour-schemes.
